Day 2- Pangandaran

Today we had breakfast at about 8am, everyone love the breakfast at this hotel as they provide Indonesian, such as Nasi goreng (fried rice), fried noodle, veg soup and rice - It is going to be long travel day today, so everyone tried to have a big breakfast.

At 8.30am we took taxi for Gambir train station which was take only 5 mins from the hotel. Then at 9.15am we got on to the train and take about 3.5 hours to Bandung. Our train left on time and it was full as it is weekend and all the people in Jakarta try to get out from the city. On the way to Bandung it is good choice to take by train as the view from the train is stunning!

We passed the rice field with beautiful terrace, country side and also mountain area. Everyone was so impressed with the view from the train. They were able to see the people plan the rice even from the train. I was trying to explain how and how long the rice growing up till the harvest. It was a nice train ride and such a 'stunning view' said all the group. We got to Bandung at 12.45pm, then we had some Indo lunch here at train station as the first stop we had is in 3 hours. We hopped into our van and off to Bandung City which is very busy. Well, not as busy as in Jakarta but Bandung is including one of the biggest city in Indonesia. Here in this city are many textile factory and Bandung is very famous for its fashion.

3 hours more to Pangandaran, which is town is my home town. Pangandaran is one of the best beaches in Java and very popular by domestic tourists from big city such as Jakarta or Bandung. Pangandaran is location in the peninsula where we have 2 side of beaches, east and west beach. East beach where mostly fisherman and west beach where we could do water sport or relaxing. Soon as we arrived, everyone was so hungry, so soon after we drop our bag, then we had dinner. Not long after dinner, everyone feel so tired as it was long day traveling to day, it was about 10 hours Jakarta to Pangandaran! We all went to bed early and ready to explore my home town tomorrow. We stay here for 3 nights 2 days. Ok guys, will see what we will do tomorrow.
